When I got my 1st manual quad I realised that i could do with a few tips on how to keep track of it (orientation), and some basic maneuvering tips. I thought it may be helpful for any who have the 380 as a 1st quad to link some videos that i found very good in giving me the basics needed for controlled flight.
This one is invaluable to learn on working out the orientation of your quad when its too far away to tell front from back.
Here are some basic turns and banked turns.
and one other that could come in handy, if ever you decide to increase the vertical speed from the ground station.
I am not 100% sure, but if this setting alters the descent speed as well as the climb rate it would be wise to use this method while descending.
Also some have said that the 380 has shut down while they have had the throttle in full down position for more than a couple of seconds.
I have not had this happen(thankfully) while at 'full down stick', but i usually descend in the manner show in this video, so have forward stick on the right while at full down with the throttle. (I wont be testing if it does shut down without this forward stick).
