It is twice the weight of the X380 and looks like it could be used to carry a larger a camera format.
X500 has been selling very slowly since its launch and 2 months after release(probably due to the 380's popularity).
I still can find no review that says more than what  is printed above.
Still... I Feel that all the tweaks that were done to the X380 would have been implemented into this prior to release.
Looking at the timelines it started rolling out just as the newer X380's did.

Looks like it is explaining how the TX needs to be set when switching on. Or possibly when setting Headless function before flying(no that's not confusing at all ).
Looking at the controller it would seem there are some new flight modes for the X500.
A 5CH/GYRO switch ?
A 3D/IDLE switch ?
A TH.HOLD switch ?
A D/R switch ?
The bottom section of the TX is a menu style selection of multiple options/settings.

I heard something about this new 'Super headless' mode. When active it is supposed to orientate the controls to the direction the user is facing in respect of the quads position. As opposed to the TX needing to be orientated to one compass point. Which is how most headless works.
Meaning you should get headless control no matter what direction you face when using.

Its got some prety big props on it 13 or 14 inch possibly even larger.
Plenty space underneath for a larger cam and gimbal setup.
Expected to have 22 minutes flight time. (soon fix that)

So.... I waited as long as i could for XK to change production over from the X380, to the X500, and re-supply all the waiting vendors with new stock.
Had to cancel just before the 45 day limit that paypal imposes on us to lodge a dispute, so thought I better cancel and reorder.

Checked GB and the price was still the same so went ahead and got the refund next day. Went to order again and the price had jumped up overnight to $375 adding £50 to what I had paid before.

Its still good value when you look at what you get.....Decisions
