1 EHang Ghost Battery 5400Mah on Sat Jan 09, 2016 5:10 pm

Another battery that will fit the X380 is the EHang Goast Battery very similar to the blue 5400Mah (might turn out to be the wrapper is the only difference)
EHang Ghost 5400

READ ON A BIT AND BE CAREFUL WHO YOU BUY FROM.

UPDATE: Finally got to test this one from Gearbest. Flight time of 20 mins (was windy conditions) where with the 'blue' Original battery I get 23-24 mins.
So It looks to run a bit shorter.

I had read a good report on this specific cell.
I have used the one I got but not had chance to do a full run on it to check run time.
First impression was OK, only nag about it is the lead is a bit long and so is a bit fiddly getting the door shut.

What a disappointment !!! 8 mins until 1st red lights on one battery, 9 mins on second battery........clones, copies, fakes or just rubbish........stock battery was still going strong at 20 mins when i packed up for home, so isn't temperature. Lets hope they improve 2nd charge !

Only stopped as I needed to pack up.

yes something wrong there, I used mine again today and did an 8 min flight and a 7 min flight and still no warning at the end of the second flight. I wanted to do a full test but i was on the top of a cliff, and it was so windy I was worried I wouldnt be able to land when I needed to. So thought better of it.
Do you have a charger that can read each cell of the 3S?

According to the charger each cell is getting to 4.2v fine....they look original and brand new so why they are both giving such poor flights times i've no idea.

each of the 3 cells should read 4.2V....4.6V would mean they are over charging, which is very bad for a LI-Po. They may be cooked.

It must be a capacity problem.
You may be spot on saying they are fakes.
I have have been burned before with 18650 Li-Mn batteries, They put a tiny capsule size battery inside the bigger casing and fill the empty space with flour to make up the weight. They do a good job of it too. When you cut them open(dont do this with yours) and pour out the flour, all you are left with is pellet the size of a paracetamol that has a capacity of 100mah.
If they are fake the power drain could be the reason they are dying...They cant handle 1A let alone 15-20A.
Try and get a refund...lodge a complaint with ebay and they should resolve it.

Dont buy from Ebay you mean. I got mine from GB and it looks to work as expected so far.
It looks like the 'backshed fakers' are moving on from 18650's and branching out now these type are more popular than a year ago.

I wouldnt hold back on what I say to the seller or to ebay.
I told a seller point blank that he had sent me fake batteries and just before the 30 days was up he refunded and didnt ask for the batteries back.

Dont at any point leave a negative feedback until after the 30 days. If he refunds then just leave it at that.

There has been this 'fake' battery problem on ebay for more than a few years now starting when e-cigarettes became popular

The green ones are Sony and are £20 a set and Ebay is full of these that are are faked flour filled bits of crap.

I tested mine today properly and got 20 mins from it....About 3-4 mins shorter flight than my original battery.
OP updated.
