Does anyone have any data to support a 3s lipo working in a 380 transmitter?

I would use a 2S battery pack.
The 3S when fully charged delivers 12.6v and the lowest you can really discharge them is to 9.6v. some do let you discharge to a slightly lower voltage. But basically a 3S would mean the TX was always being given more than designed for.

A 2S would give you 8.4v when full and could go down to 6.4v before needing a recharge, which is closer to how 6AA's work behave.
