12v is usually for the 2d/3d gimbal which I assume you don't have. Most action cams for quads are 5v. Did your camera come with an extension cable to connect to that short white connector on the camera lead to the x380? If not you will need an extension cable or make your own. This link should be the camera you have, and it shows the extension cable. Maybe contact xt and ask if they know the voltage. 1 thing for sure, if you hook it up to 12v and its supposed to be 5v, you will fry the servos on the tilt motor. 5v will just make them either very sluggish or not work at all. Same with the camera itself.
