I just bought the Plain version XK Detect X380 Quad and An Phantom Vision V1080P camera The camera has only three wires red,black,white...Can anyone tell me how to connect cam to quad. Seems this cam only tilts and needs to be turned on manually first before takeoff to take video but it does take stills also but I am not sure how to take the still pictures. No good info came with either. Any help on this setup appreciated

Isn't that the camera that comes on the x380A model? Red is 5v positive, black is negative, and white or yellow is the signal. Mine is gone now and waiting on my x500, but the picture showing the pins for the 5v is where you would connect that camera. Do NOT plug into the 12v socket! Got it off another site, so use at your own peril. Just don't plug or unplug them while the quad is powered up.

12v is usually for the 2d/3d gimbal which I assume you don't have. Most action cams for quads are 5v. Did your camera come with an extension cable to connect to that short white connector on the camera lead to the x380? If not you will need an extension cable or make your own. This link should be the camera you have, and it shows the extension cable. Maybe contact xt and ask if they know the voltage. 1 thing for sure, if you hook it up to 12v and its supposed to be 5v, you will fry the servos on the tilt motor. 5v will just make them either very sluggish or not work at all. Same with the camera itself.

igadget56 on this forum has the same camera and may be able to help you by looking at his to show exactly where and what to hook up for the camera.

Or try to contact xk and ask about the voltage.
