2nd flight today.
I did the gyro resetting,(which I'd not heard of ??) clicking the r/hand switch a gazillion times, got a steady green then the regular double green flash, did the gps dance slightly differently this time, toilet bowling was nowhere near as bad this time but was still there initially and did get better as it flew,as you can see, there also seems to be a problem with the gimble dropping slightly, pan round and it catches up but stop panning and just hover and you can see it drop ?? any ideas..14.30 mins, still had the double green, maybe see just how long I get next time, must be getting brave .

You can reset the gimble using the small recessed button on the gimble controller board, one press, motors release quickly hold in position, then motors re-engage. Two presses, same as before.

One sets horizontal level , one sets camera angle. You should have an instruction sheet included which explains it in poor english !

Is this the button ? and I gather it's transmitter on, battery on, and press it from the side on a level surface ?? .
I need to double check everything with all the stories of people toasting the board,I've learnt my lesson at my age, don't rush in like a bull in a china shop any more..Ian.

Yes thats the button, it can be programmed to do various things based on number of press's by using Simple BGC software (perhaps for another time).

From the manual, Set up the gimble, make the set as follows according to your demands.

(1)Correcting the midpoint lever position of the camera. First, take the camera into the gimble, electrify the airplane. Press the setting button after the gimble finish the self checking. The camera will be in freedom status please make the camera up to vertically, leave go of the camera after.

(2) Set up the arbitrary angle to take the photograph. Press the setting button twice to enter the setting of the arbitrary angle , the gimble will appear in freedom mode, make the camera up to the point you want, let go when the camera shaking.

You can also calibrate the gimble in Simple BGC.

It does seem from reports on Facebook some gimbles seem faulty from new and what seems to happen is they tilt randomly or over time, mine seems to do this, again from what i've read there is no fix, so its either a warranty claim (good luck with that) or a new gimble for about $65. Mine seems to be getting worse over time, some days after a flight its dropping by 45 degrees to one side. Tried calibration and all sorts but still seems to do it. I hope yours is not the same !
