This is how i keep my battery in place using sticky back velcro

Soft Velcro stuck inside

Hook side on battery

Tab for pulling battery out and is needed so not to pull wire's

Pushed in tag and balance connector out way

Power connector goes in nice

Holding straight up battery stays good in fact with out the tab it would be hard to get it out

Not needed but just in case elastic band round door and legs

I like that Don. That battery does shift around inside while flying, I will do the same to help with keeping as much weight as possible over the back.
I have found that the 2 tabs that are supposed to keep the door closed, will work if you bend them out slightly but not to the point of snapping off. My door shuts now with a nice 'snap' sound and needs the sides squeezing to open again.

3 Good Idea on Battery on Mon Feb 01, 2016 4:28 pm

Your idea is real good on holding the battery in place. I have one of these quads on order and was wondering if the lock on the cover was poorly
designed? Moving the battery wires will eventually ruin the connections on the battery. A good on/off switch for the quad would also be a good feature
like the MJX X101 and some of the other quads. Thanks for the idea!

The doors have been know to open and battery to fall out this prevents that from happening
As for a switch there has been talk about it but from what I have read up it needs a heavy duty switch and would be one more thing that could fail
